Finding Dogs their "Forever Homes"
Here at the Good Dog Ranch, we absolutely love our clients' dogs. We truly take pride in being able to provide excellent care for them when their parents are either busy during the day, or off on a holiday. Providing a home away from home for our clients' dogs is an honour. We keep them safe, make sure they have fun, love them, cuddle them, and eventually, we send them home.
Now, we are in a position to help dogs that don't get to be sent home. In partnership with the Coquitlam Animal Shelter, the Good Dog Ranch is launching Good Dog Adoption; a program that will take one dog at a time and help them find a great home. Each homeless dog we take on will find a home here at the Ranch until they find their 'forever home'.
They will live here, and be privy to all of the love and attention that our clients' dogs receive. In addition, they will be put on a training program to give them the skills necessary to be a good canine citizen and make them more adoptable.
Cooper
Neutered Male, Lab mix (possibly Pointer) Adult
Cooper is a very loving and friendly young dog who is about 13 months old. He is energetic and loves people, taking walks and playing fetch with his ball. He is enrolled in basic dog obedience classes to improve his leash walking skills and socialization with other dogs.
He is a very quick learner who just wants to please. He already knows various commands. Once he is trained, he could excel in areas of agility or tracking/rescue work or just be a wonderful family dog. Cooper needs the right loving family who can offer him a forever home and spend some time with him to bring out his true potentials.
He is presently living in a home with 2 other little dogs and 3 cats and unfortunately spends a lot of time on his own during the day.
