		Formal Obedience Your dog will work one-on-one with one of our Certified Professional Dog Trainers twice daily to work on your goals. Your dog will also be integrated into the Ranch, where the highest standards of care are practiced, including working on social manners on a daily basis. Behaviour Modification

This program is designed to teach your dog manners!

A few common behaviours that are addressed in this program:

Jumping on people (including children)
Stealing food off counters
Mouthing or nipping people (including children)
Hyperactivity
Bolting through doorways

You will receive a customized, detailed handout packaged to take home as well as a handover session with your primary dog trainer including:

All behavioural skills learned at the Ranch and how to continue them at home
Dog body language and social signals
Leadership program tailored to you and your dog

Curriculum:

Foundation obedience skills
Basic manners and self-control
Teach your dog to make better decisions, including self-settling, and be rewarded for them
Change dogs habitual unwanted behaviour
Our facility allows your trainer to recreate any environmental situation where you are experiencing the unwanted behaviour, including:
- on and off leash set-ups with other dogs and people
- home environment to practice any problems occurring in-home

Reactive Rehabilitation

This program is designed for dogs displaying reactive or aggressive behaviour. Whether your dog’s behaviour is embarrassing, annoying or dangerous, our Certified Professional Dog Trainers will help you and your dog to forge new habits and behaviours in the face of stressful situations.

A few common reactive behaviours that we address:

Aggression towards people, children or dogs (both on and off leash)
Possessive behaviours around objects, food or people
Nervous or fearful behaviour
Aggressive barking/lunging in confined areas such as your home or car

Curriculum:

Given the nature of aggression, your dog’s program will be completely custom, however the following is a list of general curriculum covered in this program:

Foundation obedience skills
Development of social skills
Exposure to working with and around well-balanced pack and individual pack members
Daily socialization with skilled members of the Good Dog team to increase dog's social skills and learn about human leadership
Building positive confidence in high stress situations to teach dogs to choose new, wanted behaviours over aggressive, unwanted ones.
